Anil Sharma’s latest film “Veer” stars Salman Khan, Zarine Khan, Mithun Chakraborty and Jackie Shroff in the lead roles. The movie released all over the world on 22nd January’10. “Veer” was the most awaited film in Salman’s career and as expected it is doing well not only in India but also internationally.
The movie made a gross collection of Rs. 41 crores in its opening weekend. With 1,300 prints in India and 236 prints overseas, the movie certainly made a grand entry. It fetched a good collection of Rs. 21 crores in India and Rs. 9 crores overseas in just 2-3 days.

Talking about “Veer”, we all are aware that it is a periodic film. The film is very close to Salman’s heart with a combination of bravery, drama, action and love. Set up in the era of 19th century, “Veer” depicts the war against the British rule. The opening weekend of the film was followed by the Republic Day which worked in favor of Salman and the movie so far has run positively at the box office.
